While it was difficult to pin down the inspiration behind the new John Galliano collection, it is easy to do so for Jean Paul Gaultier: boxing and rough sports. The models came out with their boxing gloves and bruised faces to show the designer's take on rough-chic. I thought the Dolce & Gabbana show was macho, but JPG has them beat.
