Harrods is hosting an exhibit of twelve Elie Saab gowns, famously worn by international celebrities on the red carpet over the years.
Each gown exhibited was selected by a celebrity to be worn on the red carpet at events such as the Oscars, the Cannes Film Festival, the BAFTAs, and international film premieres.
The presentation includes, for example, the Elie Saab Haute Couture gown designed for Halle Berry, when she accepted her Oscar for Best Actress in 2002, and by doing so became the first African-American actress ever to win an Oscar.
An image of each celebrity in her Elie Saab dress will be displayed alongside the actual gown worn at each red carpet event.
